Is there a way to demonstrate the alignment between expectations/standards and classroom activities?
Anne Hemingway is one of the teachers serving on the curriculum review team. She plans to spend part of her summer writing new instructional units for her department that are more clearly focused on their standards. CurriculumTracker™ helps her accomplish this task through a “design-down” model that focuses on desired results first. Anne and other teachers can design instructional and assessment activities and link them to one or more standards. The headings used in the template are customized to represent the district’s curriculum design model.
A description of each standard is described in the “curriculum tree” on the first page of lesson design, allowing teachers quick access to this critical data as they think about relevant class instructional and assessment activities.
Angela can use the “Print-Student” link to create a student friendly document to give to Angela.
