Regardless of how a teacher chooses to organize their record-keeping, once a gradebook structure is defined in LearningTracker™, it is easy on a day-to-day basis to enter columns for new assignments, and associate them with a particular category or with a specific standard/expectation.

After clicking a button to add a new assignment/column in the gradebook, Anne is asked to identify the existing column(s) with which it is to be associated and name the assignment (in this case she named the assignment Adverb Quiz and associated the new assignment with Quizzes on the Traditional side of the gradebook and with the curriculum Standard 1 Speaking and writing standard English.
