In this example, Anne gave the class a daily work assignment (Page 41 (#1-25). She entered it into the “Daily Work” category in her gradebook and the scores become part of the overall course grade. In addition, Anne has indicated that this assignment also assesses each student’s proficiency regarding one of the specific standards in her course. The score for this assignment is now part of a body of evidence (along with Lab #3) for that expectation.
